Online Marketing Specialist
Job Description:
Seeking for a driven, results-oriented Internet Marketing Specialist to perform in the development and implementation of primarily organic (SEO) and Internet marketing strategy, to best achieve client objectives. This is an entry to mid-level position. First and foremost this is an Internet marketing position. He or she will manage online marketing campaigns and work as part of a team; sometimes serving as the primary point of contact for clients at the agency.
This position requires a self-motivated individual who can implement and manage multiple projects simultaneously while working with different departments throughout the organization. The ideal candidate must have a foundation with Internet marketing (SEO, PPC, and SMO) and must think strategically, execute efficiently, and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Internet marketing tactics based on an established and proven system.
- Develop and implement online marketing strategies to enhance client website's SERPs rankings, web traffic and conversions.
- Conduct competitive research and keyword analysis
- Continuously optimize and update site content, including META data and page content to ensure maximum rankings for targeted keywords.
- Research, measure and grow link-building campaigns, including internal links, external links and directory listings.
- Be able to read and understand Google Analytics.
- Analyze and translate quantitative and qualitative data from web analytics tools into actionable SEO strategies.
- Implement and manage social media strategies to increase site traffic and keyword rankings.
- Research SEO best practices to identify necessary updates and new market opportunities.
- Consistently analyze, measure, and track site ranking factors, including prime keywords, long-tail keywords, internal and external links, site content and competition.
- Provide organized monthly reports and be able to analyze and articulate successes or failures of existing campaigns.
Skills:
- We are open to training the right individual.
- 4-year college degree from accredited institution/equivalent experience. Emphasis in marketing, business, PR, communication or economics preferred.
- 1 to 3 years minimum hands-on experience in Marketing and search engine marketing and optimization with understanding of how it fits into overall online and business marketing strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with cross-functional teams to ensure implementation of SEO projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with search engines, website architecture and basic online principles.
- Familiar with web analytics software, such as Google Analytics.
- Very knowledgeable with keyword analysis techniques and software
- Detail-oriented, organized task manager who can prioritize and focus.
